Robert Oppenheimer who directed the atomic bomb project complained to President Truman that he (Oppenheimer) has "blood on my hands." A faucet gushes water which has been dyed red. On each side of the sink are six rows of shelves which represent the I-Ching hexagram "Splitting Through." Bars of soap are imprinted with rationalizations for the use of the bomb ("defense", "democracy", "security", etc.) Above the sink is a hand-towel dispenser with names of victims in Hiroshima.
